Take me to Greece
Who has a place they’ve always wanted to visit? We all have one. When I was a kid, I would have said Disney land. When I was a teen, I would have said the Bahamas. And now I would tell you Greece. So, guess where I just had the opportunity to visit : Santorini, Greece. And let me tell you, it was an experience like no where else. I’m not sure if it’s the white and blue homes or the crystal blue water, but Greece has a majestic vibe about it. And while you are there, you feel as if you are somewhere off the maps. It is truly an incredible place to see.The first day we drove our rental car through the hills of Santorini. And yes, we got lost many times along the way. The black sand beach is full of volcanic rock which is a very unique beach to see, as you can imagine. Stopping for pizza at a cafe lining the beach, we had a delicious lunch.
The next day we decided to check out a winery. After completing a full wine tour: we decided to hangout with the Taco Bell dog while tasting all of the many wonderful wines. I have tried many types of wine in my lifetime and Santorini definitely had some of the best.
As sad as I was to leave Santorini, I have told myself I will definitely be back. It is not a place you want to visit only once. As we departed from the island, I began to think about our next destination: Amsterdam. The one place I have always wanted to go ever since I’ve found myself fascinated with Anne Frank. And so we went….
